The Colour Cabinet line, created by Belgian designers Muller Van Severen, consists of a number of floor-standing and wall-hanging cabinets that show the conflicting relationship between bright, unique color and simple, clean design. The designers investigate how contrasts and similarities in materials and colors highlight and emphasize the material's inherent beauty in furniture pieces, starting with functionality as a starting point. The series is appropriate for a wide range of storage and exhibition functions in a variety of private and public situations thanks to its adaptable design and multiple possibilities. The cabinet body is built of FSC-certified organically dyed Valchromat, a special type of strong MDF material, and the supporting frame is made of sturdy steel.
